I just got back from work tonight and surprised to see that my boi had actually prepared a sweet and romantic candle light dinner for us. What surprised me more was that even the dining table was nicely set, and the food tasted pretty good. Thanks, boiboi! *muackz* Here is the menu of the day:
It was love at first sight when I first saw this Coca-cola advertisement in one of the local cinemas here in Australia. I simply love the remix version of "We're All In This Together", the original track is recorded by the Australian singer in his 5th album, "Awake Is the New Sleep".
Ni Hao is the Chinese restaurant where we had our lunch together, after picking my boi up from the Brisbane Airport. As we arrived, the restaurant was already closed and the chef was about to drive off the carpark. Thanks to the warm-hearted chef (the owner of the restaurant to be exact) for "re-opening" the kitchen just for us.
Preston Peak Cellar Door & Cafe is located just outside Toowoomba in South East Queensland of Australia. Table Top Mountain, Toowoomba, the Lockyer Valley and the Darling Downs can all be seen from the Cellar Door.
Preston Manor and Preston Village Chapel are located on the crest of the range at the corner of Preston Boundary Road and Preston Road. The tourist attraction is just 500m before Preston Peak Winery and it's 5km away from Toowoomba.
Q1 is the world's tallest residential tower as well as the 20th tallest building in the world. The Queensland Number One skyscraper is geographically located in Surfers Paradise of Gold Coast at 322.5m, which has now become one of Gold Coast's famous icons!
This afternoon was a perfect day for outdoor activities, the weather was so warm and sunny with gentle breeze blowing occasionally. And then, out of the blue, my friends and I came out with the idea of organizing a barbecue picnic at Lake Annand Park, a pleasant water attraction which has been created along Toowoomba's East Creek.
After spending almost 2 crazy hours fooling around and playing games on the beach, everyone was completely tired out and wet to the skin. That was when we started to think of finding a place, just sit down, relax and enjoy a nice warming dinner together. Within half an hour or so, we drove all the way back from Surfers Paradise to Sunnybank.
We had our lunch at Pizza Hut, Ruthven Street this afternoon right after we got back from Harvey Norman. The Australian-based retailer is now having big sales on most of their products, and we were shocked to find out that the price of the digital and SLR cameras are actually darn cheap now. Although, I have the thought of buying a new camera but I intend to wait until everything is settled down. I must not spend my hard-earned money until then.
Please don't misunderstood that there was nothing else but only slippers in White Water World. To tell you the truth, it is really very inconvenient to bring your camera along with you especially when taking water rides. The worse thing was that we had to walk around barefoot in the water theme park under the burning hot sun. Anyway, here is a list of the rides we took...
At 7.40 last night, my boi came to pick me up from Westridge Shopping Centre. Our plan of the night was to dine out in one of the restaurants in Toowoomba City. We started out by checking on the Thai and Malaysian Restaurant, Pandan Delight which located at Ruthven Street. Then, we found out that everything on the menu tends to be quite pricey.
In the past whole week, I was so hooked up with the hottest TVB drama in town, Moonlight Resonance, which is also known as the Heart of Greed II. Truthfully speaking, the storyline of the first and second season are actually pretty much the same, it just that certain roles of the characters have been swapped and several other characters have added to make the episodes more interesting. There are these two songs that I love so much and they were often being played throughout the whole drama series. Now, let me introduce you to Ice Cream (Talk to Me) by DNR and 爱不疚 by Raymond Lam (林峰).
Eventually, I have enough free time to devote to write about my graduation trip to Sydney last September. However, due to the sudden change of weather here in Toowoomba, I can't help but fall sick again. On my graduation night, which is 6th of September, my family and I had a simple yet wonderful steamboat dinner together before departing to Brisbane Domestic Airport.
We had a lot of fun at Milne Bay Aquatic Centre this afternoon. There were seven of us including me, my boi, Jojo, David, Jim, Benny and his baby girl. In case you don't know, the concession price for "Swim/Spa/Sauna" costs only $5.80 per person, which is pretty worth your money. We headed straight to the destination right after a quick lunch at Grand Central.
Lately, I've been caught up with work and several other personal issues that refrain me from writing posts about my graduation trip with my family. There were tons and tons of photos taken throughout our 4-day-trip to Sydney, not to forget the videos as well. Today, I'd like to share some of the home-cooking dishes prepared by our own selves within the past 2 weeks. Oh, by the way, my boi and I will be attending Chanel's birthday party tonight. So please stay tuned for more mouth-watering food photos, ok?
These few days, as the weather gets hot and sticky, more and more people like to go for a jog or just a leisure walk around the park. Today, my boi and I had a relaxing walk to Kearney's Spring Historical Park at around 5 in the late afternoon.
