A Sweet Escape to Surfers Paradise

On Queen's Birthday public holiday (yesterday), we had a sweet escape to Gold Coast's Surfers Paradise. Everything was unplanned and we were totally unprepared. I guess, that's the fun of having such unplanned trip. Just jump in your car and start driving without knowing the exact destination :P

We used a different route to get there instead of following the "usual route" we normally take.

The sky and the beaches are incredibly ravishing, as always.

It was 4 something in the late afternoon.

And the sun has already set.

Look!!! I've found a natural tree chair to sit on.

Around 5 something, the big round moon rises lazily above the sea.

Hard Rock Cafe, corner of Cavill Avenue & Surfers Paradise Boulevard.

Chevron Renaissance, officially opened on 24th of October, 2000.

The building consists a variety of restaurants that lies under a big tent,
surrounded with cool little blue neon lights.

Accompanied by a layered water fountain.

And some beautiful palm trees...
