Gold Coast: The Wax Museum

The Wax Museum on the Gold Coast's Surfers Paradise, is a medium sized museum that exhibits life-like famous people who made history, such as scientists, explorers, villains and world leaders. The exhibition is divided into two main sections: "The World in Wax" and "The Chamber of Horrors". Don't forget to pay an entrance fee of $28 per adult to the counter person before you start exploring!

Unfortunately, we missed the opportunity to visit Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum as we only had very limited time, approximately 4 hours maybe? That includes window shopping, seaside walking, photo-shooting, parking, eating and blah blah blah. So next time, if we were to visit Gold Coast again, most probably we would stay overnight and book our accommodations a few days earlier.

Well, back to the topic! The Wax Museum claims that each of the wax figure is dressed in authentic and accurately recreated costumes of their time. This sexy lady standing next to my boi is Kylie Minogue, the Australian pop singer from Melbourne. She's so tiny!

But still, we opened our eyes to a series of spine chilling torture devices like the chastity belt, the Scottish maiden, the flesh tearer, the iron cage, the rat torture, and many others.
