The annual Toowoomba Languages and Cultural Festival commenced at Queens Park from 10am to 4pm today! My boi and I, and another friend of us were there to join in the fun as we got nothing much to do on Sundays (just recently). We were hungry like mad that time (we both went there empty stomach, or does a cup of Milo count? Don't matter!), so the first thing we did was to "scan" for some good food to feed our poor stomach. These two triangular deep fried vegetarian stuff we tried, not good...
Me with San. She got herself a small bowl of ice-cream which looked nothing like ice-cream.
Mini windmills, I've already got one from last year's festival, so definitely no more buying.
Cultural dances / performances.
A huge and fluffy doggie we saw, not sure about the breed though.
They call them pancakes, very mini pancakes indeed.
Very disappointed with the mini pancakes we bought, terrible I'd say.
Some random wooden statues.
Wooden bookmarks with miniature dolls, lovely!
We intended to buy a big kite but there was none with a long and pretty tail =/
On the way to pick up our car. Queens Park has such an amazingly beautiful view in the afternoon ♥
girl, did you try the Spanish donuts-Churros? very delicious.
ReplyDeleteMelodii:
ReplyDeleteNope, but San did ;)
The churros looked a bit greasy though, with oil dripping down on the serviette...
And this year's activities weren't as interesting as last year's :(
LOL....but you looked happy with the mini cakes in the photo :P.
