Betong: The Southernmost Town of Thailand

Betong City Centre

Betong is a not-so-big-yet-not-so-small town located at the southernmost district of Yala Province, Thailand. This place has successfully attracted quite a huge number of tourists from nearby Malaysia, Pengkalan Hulu (formerly known as Kroh or Keroh) in particular.

Together with my mom, we went to buy some "stocks" from the local markets.

Betong Daily Market

We managed to grab some fresh ingredients from the food market too.
Saw my mom's hairbun? She likes mine, you know... that's why...

Betong: Lunch at Thai Restaurant

In the afternoon, we had our lunch here at one of the Thai restaurants. I have no idea what's the name of this restaurant since it's written in Thai. Anyone?

I found an adorable pregnant / fat Chihuahua (maybe I'm wrong) sitting somewhere not far from our table.
