Gold Coast Trip Day 1: Draculas Haunted House and The Captains Table

Gold Coast: Haunted House

Draculas Haunted House is Australia’s largest (AUD $6.5 million) and most unique walk-through haunted attraction located on the Gold Coast's Surfers Paradise.

Gold Coast: Haunted House

The five-level purpose built building features a Deadly Australian Creature collections, The Carnival of Freaks Museum, Vampire Lair, Mirror Maze (our favorite!) and Phobia Level. I nearly screamed my lungs out when passing through those dark tunnels. It was so dark and we could barely see nothing at all! Also, I expected something like human posed ghosts that would pop out of nowhere, pat my shoulder or flying heads with no bodies, but there was actually none, phew!

After all the shouting and screaming, we came to the gothic "Shop of Horror", which is also the entrance where you get to purchase the tickets and souvenirs.

As soon as we were done with the walk, everyone was starving and craving for food. Thus, we followed our plan to visit this seafood restaurant, namely The Captains Table for some delicious live seafood.

Gold Coast: Haunted House

Hot chocolates for both of us, as usual.

Crystal ordered this dont-know-what-is-it-called greenie drink.

Platter for Two: A whole sand crab, prawns, oysters, Moreton Bay bugs, deep fried calamari and fish pieces, mussels, Tasmanian smoked salmon, scallops in the shell served with chips and seasonal fruits. It was superb!!!

Gold Coast: Haunted House

Half lobster served with steak, garden salad and a bed of rice.
