At last, I'm proud to say out loud that we've "conquered" the Wheel of Brisbane with honors!!! The ferries wheel which I had been wanting and dreaming to ride since the day I laid my eyes on is now a history. Another tick off on the to-do list! *cheers* This attraction of South Bank was built about 4 years ago, in celebrations of the 20th anniversary of World Expo 88 and the 150th anniversary of the State of Queensland 1859–2009. Initially, it was scheduled to be operated from 2008 to 2010, but has now been extended to remain until 2012, just enough time for us two to come back for the joyful ride, sweeeeet! =)
The 60-metre (197 ft) tall transportable Wheel of Brisbane. Spot that little crescent moon hanging on the bottom left corner.
Yay, we've got two tickets, $15 each for adults! I think the prices actually went down compared to last time.
Waiting for instructions from the platform staff...
Me, all filled up with excitement.

Then something magical happened at the very next moment, our destiny! We were put to queue on platform 5 to ride cabin no.5 out of the 42 air-condition cabins. Nothing special to you, but it's my lucky number "5"!!!

Just me and him, Mr Choo and I, sharing one cabin together. Total freedom and privacy!
*evil grin*
Saranghaeyo ♥

Mr. Choo trying hard to overcome his Acrophobia (fear of heights) as we were gradually raised into the mid air. Btw, that's Griffith University in the background with glowing red captions.
Stunning 360° night views across the Brisbane City.

Mr. Choo still looking stiff here after 2nd or 3rd round.
That should be the VIP cabin with black tinted windows.

On our 4th (final) round. The ride lasted for approximately 12 minutes.

Couple more shots of the Wheel of Brisbane.

The Nepalese temple we visited years ago, during the Brisbane River Festival.

Admiring the city lights along Brisbane river.

Super love this specular reflection shot *dreamy eyes*

My numb face, thanks to the spine chilling wind that night.
Bye and have a lovely weekend ahead!
