I've been cooking almost everyday lately, prepared both dinners and bento lunches for the two of us, and we made our own breakfasts too. Three, family-style, hearty, healthy and definitely more nutritious home-cooked meals a day are way better than outside food, don't you think? But last night, the sluggish-ness in me took over. We had to drag our lazy feet out in the cold to hunt for some good food in town, and we came to the Angel Cafe.
Something cheesy with bolognese sauce given to us for food tasting.
White Mint Chocolate topped with whipped cream, 100's & 1000's - $6.90
I chose not to have any caffeinated drinks as I've just started this 7-day detox program.
The minty chocolate drink tasted really sweet.
It would be better if it was an ice-blended one (to reduce the sweetness in it).

Brown and white sugar cubes in a jar. No, I didn't add them into my drinks ;p
Its plating / presentation was bad compared to last time. Asparagus were overcooked too. FYI, the restaurant has changed management after our last visit here in July, which also means that we'll no longer receive MyerOne points for every dollars we spent here *frown*
Citrus braised Lamb Shank served with buttered kale, seasonal vegetables (zucchini and snow peas) & creamy mash potato - $34

Simply loved the mashed potato one the side. So soft and creamy, and very well-flavored at the same time. But I'm not sure about the lamb shank itself, as my BB told me that the taste was just average.
