Throughout our 3D2N trip over the weekend, we've tasted all sort of cuisines: Japanese at Hanaichi, Singaporean at the Little Singapore, Australian at the Fishes Cafe, Italian at the Toscani's, Chinese at the King of Kings and eventually had BBQ dinner at the Seorabeol Korean Restaurant on Surfers Paradise. It was all random. We were strolling on the streets and were in the midst of hunting a good restaurant, then this restaurant's sign so happened to come into our sights. We dug up the stairs, flipped through their menus a little bit and decided, "Well yeah, let's try this one out!".
Its menus. From Korean barbecue, shabu-shabu to stir fried dishes.
Green tea, $3 plus per pot.
Good in stimulating effects on the digestive system and metabolic. In short, it burns fats!!!
The BBQ pork set we ordered, more than enough to feed 3 people.
Bachan / Small dishes consisting fish cake (salty), potato (sweet), kimchi (spicy), and white turnip (sour). They were delectable! <3
I wasn't aware that it was part of the waitress's job to do the grilling for us until she came over (with her unfriendly-emotionless face), snatched the meat plate away from us when I was about to take some photos. I gently asked her, "Can I please take some photos with it first?" with a smile. She responded without saying a word or a smile on her face, put the plate back to where it was, turned around and just walked away *speechless*
After we were done taking photos, we pressed the service bell, and there she came starring at us like, "What now?" with her unfriendly-emotionless face again.
Anyway, she only grilled the pork belly and we did the rest of them ourselves.
The service was really bad and unwelcoming in my opinion, despite the delish and flavorsome food they serve.
Spicy tofu soup. I shouldn't have ordered this one here as the meat alone was already very filling. We may or may not be returning in the future, considering the whole unpleasant dining experience.

Looks really yum, maybe the waitress was just having a bad day :(

I guess so, Emilie. She was the only waitress working that night =x
