We've always heard of the big name of "Wong Tai Sin Temple" being mentioned by those actors and actresses in Hong Kong Chinese TVB drama series. And from what I know, faithful believers come to this Taoist temple to "Kau Cim" and pray for their prayers to be answered.

Where about are we now? The Upper Wong Tai Sin Estate (黃大仙上邨).
*Just ignore my terribly stiff face, would you?*

Standing at the main entrance...

One of the statues here.

This is embarrassing, I picked the wrong outfit for such muggy day. I could feel sweats slipping down my back and my legs even just after a few minutes walk from the MTR station, no kidding!

Ox, second of the 12 Chinese Zodiac Animals (十二生肖).

They did a very good job maintaining this sacred place. *thumbs up*

Each person is restricted to offer up to 9 joss sticks only nowadays, which indirectly helps to protect both the temple and environment I would say.

Found myself a shady area, away from the scorching sun.

Some brought a whole roast suckling pig, while some brought roast goose, roast chicken, roast duck... Anything at all that you think may interest the Great Immortal Wong.

"What you request is what you get".
