Visiting Amity Point, the sand bar between Straddie and Moreton Islands, really brought back a lot of good memories we shared at the Urangan Pier, Hervey Bay a couple of years ago. It was the second destination on our itinerary after Brown Lake that day. Sunny blue skies, puffy white clouds, golden yellow sand, emerald sea with calm waters, the setting couldn't be any more perfect for a fishing sight-seeing trip or a beautiful walking tour.
Looks like this kid here has caught a fish on his hook and doing some measuring on it.
♥ Love this picture to bits!
Majestic pelicans lining up one after another.
The pier posts seem to be their favorite spot to sunbath.

Mr. Choo and I on the Amity Point Pier.
Let's take a stroll now...
Simply breath-taking.
Unbelievably cold wind and temperatures under the bright sun.
Even Mr. Not-Afraid-of-Cold wore two layers of shirts and yet, still feeling cold.
Flocks of seagulls. These birdies can get pretty irritating at times. Just last year, when I was having a walk on the streets of Surfers Paradise, one of them actually pooped on my hair! #literallygrossandbadluck But I was told it's a sign of good luck, somehow, that I should use it on a lottery ticket or something *facepalm*
A dead porcupine fish being washed up to the shore.
Aww, you poor little thing =(
The panoramic view of Amity's beach.
Do you see what I saw? There's a wild koala sleeping on the gum tree!!!
In front of Salt Water Murris Quandamooka Aboriginal's Art Gallery. Free entrance.
Checking out the brochures and flyers here.
Colorful paintings in the gallery.
Part of the handmade craft items on display.
We were supposed to drop by the Dunwich news agency for some souvenirs shopping, but unfortunately, time did not permit us to stay any longer for that.
Breakfast time!
I've got myself a ham and cheese toast to share with Mr. Choo.
Dessert for the him. Rum & Raisin and Cookies & Cream on waffle cone.
He's insane, isn't he?! -__-''
