We went down to Brissie last Sunday, mainly to eat and shop and to escape ourselves from this boring little inland of Queensland. Plus, I really needed it, so badly! Working life is just plain exhausting!
William suggested Hakataya Noodle Nagahama / 長浜ラーメン / 博多屋, the newly opened, located at Mount Gravatt Garden City Shop, Sunnybank. In celebration of its grand opening, the restaurant was giving away free extra noodle (3 consecutive days from 7th to 9th December) for each noodle soup purchased. We made it on the last day!
There are few types of ramen to choose from, priced between $10 - $13. #1. Nagahama Ramen (Japanese Pork Noodle Soup) #2.Char Siu-Me (Japanese Pork Noodle Soup with Extra Pork) #3. Karaka-Men (Japanese Spicy Pork Noodle Soup) #4. Miso Spicy-Men (Japanese Spicy Pork Noodle Soup) and the off-menu Shio Spicy-Men (Japanese Spicy Seafood Taste Pork Noodle Soup) available for limited time only.
Waiting for our noodles to be served. Disposable aprons are available upon request.
The super friendly Japanese waitstaff and chef. Thanks for posing for the camera!
Can we have three more noodles please?
Gyoza / Fried Dumplings - $7. Taste wise was just ordinary without any dipping sauces.
Mr. Choo got himself a Miso Spicy-Men while William had a Karaka-Men.
I ordered a Karaka-Men too. The level of spiciness is still within my acceptable range, fortunately. I'd say say its chilli paste and soup base are the key ingredients that make the noodle fragrant and so delicious.

After dinner and some grocery shopping, we decided to drop by Sakuraya for some Japanese milk tea.
My Sakuraya Bubble Milk Tea. Loved it!!! Btw, that's not my third hand holding the milk tea =p
William asked for the same, without pearls he prefers.
Sluuuuuuuuurp xD
Sushi feast at Hanaichi as we arrived. Yum, yum~
Scallops, salmons, soft shell crabs...
Lobsters, fish roes and more!!! ♥
Mr. Choo wearing the new black polo shirt I got him (‐^▽^‐)
Sushi sensei busy doing whatever he was doing.
Now, let's go shopping! Hehe
Afternoon tea in the food court. I've picked up two things in my shopping bags. Forever New's Celine Racer Front Peplum Top in electric pink *mad love* and L'Occitane Firming & Softening Supple Skin Oil.
The Vietnamese Prawn Rice Paper Rolls I shared with Mr. Choo before William came to meet up with us.
