Great Barrier Reef Trip Day 3: Lady Musgrave Court and Captain Cook Drive

At last, I've finished written up my last entry to conclude our 3D2N trip to the Great Barrier Reef! And since it was a road trip, there was so much time spent on either sitting in the bus or riding on the boat. I'd rather take flights if we were to visit Cairns next time, seriously. Upon our arrival on the first day, we had so much fun playing on the Agnes Water Beach. Day 2 was even more exciting with activities like guided walk at the Carpicornia Cays National Park, fish feeding and hours of snorkeling at the Lady Musgrave Island and Coral Lagoon, as well as sunset watching and a little bush walking at the Joseph Banks Conservation Park.

Day 3, the free activities day. We were left with three options. A: Skip breakfast and sleep until departure time, or B: Pay $25 to join the 2.5 hours electric bike nature tour, or C: Come back to Agnes Water Beach after having breakfast and play some Ping Pong afterwards.

The sky was so bright and sunny that I could hardly open up my eyes.

Footprints on the sand, splashing waves washing off the shore... Felt like heaven...

Something caught my eyes. These purple morning glory flowers which bloom beautifully under the warm sunshine <3

There were dogs running around and playing on the beach too.

Funny thing happened when I was writing these words on the sand. A random big dog came and fought for the stick as I passed it over to my friend. He seized the stick firmly with his teeth, had no intention of letting it go until my friend finally surrendered and let him stole the stick away from us. What a cute and funny dog! =.="

Beer bottle abandoned on the beach. You know what? We actually found an unopened bottle of beer when trying to dig a hole to bury JongIn. We dug a big hole, but unfortunately  the burying part did not happen in the end =/

Doesn't it look like one of those rivers we usually seen in the movies? Imagining there could be crocodiles hiding somewhere underneath the cloudy water. Creepy >.<

Little Easter treats given on our way heading home. So long, Great Barrier Reef! We shall come back to visit you again some time in the future, if time and money permit.
