When I said to my boi, "Kia, wa lang ki jiak Koo Koo." in Hokkian dialect, he misinterpreted the line as, "Let's go to eat for a very, very long time." when I actually meant KooKoo, the teppanyaki and lounge bar on the Gold Coast's Surfers Paradise. We had been here once, during the Easter holidays last year and were back again this year for a whole new dining experience.
Tempura Prawns with Veggies - $10.
It was kinda cold sitting next to the cut-out wall without glasses *shivers*
One of the teppanyaki chefs. Part of their "responsibility" is to performs tricks, makes jokes and juggles salt and pepper shakers when preparing / cooking our meals on the iron griddle.
Chicken Yakiudon - $18. It wasn't actually what we ordered (we asked for Chicken Yakisoba in the first place) but no biggie, since the noodles tasted quite good.
See those words behind me?

I always love going to KooKoo, the food is delicious and the cooking is so entertaining! :D
