Its beautiful garden setting overlooking Queens Park.
We arrived a few minutes before two (the time their kitchen closes on Sundays), picked a table outside, quickly flipped through the menus, then placed our orders.
Cold beverage for myself.
Thick and fruity Mountain Fresh Apple & Mango Juice - $5.50.
Mr. Choo's average Chocolate Milkshake which doesn't taste too sweet - $5.
For main meals, I ordered a Salmon Bagel with Potato Salad - $19.50.
In between the dense, chewy and doughy bagel were smoked salmon, cucumber slices, mixed greens and lack of sauce (a bit too dry to nom). The cold potato salad, on the other side, was simply lovely for such warm summer afternoon.
Caesar Salad with Chicken for him - $22.
The chicken strips (star of the plate) surprised us, so tender and flavorful! Generously portioned with crispy bacon, toast bread, Parmesan cheese, medium boiled egg, and garden-fresh greens with a slight of bitterness.

Overall, it's quite a nice place to hang out with friends or loved ones over a cuppa.

You are so tiny! Lucky thing :)
ReplyDeleteWe went for a sunday brunch to cafe valette late last year. It was ok but not my favourite place to try. Someone recently recommended Metro cafe.. have you ever been there?

Tiny? What makes you say that? o.O"
DeleteOur meals were alright, but definitely not something that would attract us back there. I've never heard of "Metro Cafe" before, gonna give it a try next time. Thanks, Emily! :-)
Sounds interesting to eat and relax there. Have a great day Christina.
