MURAL HUNT: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! Well, not quite yet.
Only some of them have been successfully captured thus far. "Some" could possibly mean 1/3 of the total murals / street arts / wall paintings in Georgetown, Penang. I'm truly amazed at this point how much time and efforts these artists had to spend to create each and every single piece of them. Simply priceless and unique.
With so many tourists cycling and strolling around the heritage area, there's no doubt one would have to queue to take photos. Even longer queue during peak hours on both weekends and public holidays. And we did! Gosh, how I wish we had winter here in Malaysia. That way, I wouldn't have to pose with my greasy hair and clammy body under the steaming hot sun =/
Person tips: Don't ever come here at noon! But if you really insist, do come with shades and sunscreen on. Casual clothing recommended.

“Little Children on a Bicycle” Mural, Armenian Street. I was told by an uncle riding a motorbike to watch out for passing vehicles, in a friendly tone and a big smile of course. Apparently I was too intoxicated. LOL.

Georgetown Town's wall sculptures (click to view the complete list). Cannon Hole Cannon Street - "A cannon shot fired during the 1867 Penang Riots made a large hole in this area, hence the name".
Beca Chulia Lane - "Locally known as ‘be ca’. Most of the trishaw paddlers also doubled as tourist guides". We stumbled upon it when having breakfast at 55 Cafe & Restaurant. Overpriced and tasteless breakfast.
This piece is right opposite the “Little Children on a Bicycle” Mural. They've got some pricey Nyonya kueh for sale in the corner shop.
“Boy on a Bike” Mural, Ah Quee Street.
Bee-doo, bee-doo, bee-doo... Just shut up will ya?
Ah Quee? Ah Quee Street - "The street is named after kapitan Chung Keng Kwee who generously donated his house to the Municipality for vehicular access ensuring that his name lives on for posterity."
Kandar Ah Quee Street - "Nasi Kandar originated from Tamil Muslim hawking home-cooked curry dishes and rice from containers slung on both ends of a kandar (a wooden stick)."
"The Wedding" Mural, Acheh Street.
“Little Girl in Blue” Mural, Muntri Street.
"Shin Chan and Friends" Mural. Forgotten where it was taken, sorry.
"Skippy and Rat" Mural, Armenian Street. Created by 101 Lost Kittens Project to raise awareness towards stray animal.
"I Can Catch Rats" Mural painted against red, blue and yellow.
"Love Me Like Your Fortune Cat" Mural. I was pulling its ear, haha!
Cheating Husband Love Lane - "The local Chinese say the rich men who lived on Muntri Street kept their mistresses here, hence the name 'Ai Cheng Lang' or Love Lane."
Budget Hotels Chulia Street - "At the turn of the last century, many shophouses were turned into cheap hotels, making this internationally known tourist strip very popular with backpackers."
"阿江包记" aka "Wil House Road" Mural, Leith Street.
