Engine Room Cafe: Lunch Gathering

I received a wake up call (yeah, was awakened from my beauty sleep at 12 something) from Peter this afternoon asking me to join them for a lunch gathering at the Engine Room Cafe. It was still raining cats and dogs (it has been lately) when I reached there. And apparently, the restaurant has changed its menu again, since our last visit back in July this year. So peeps, be prepared to see some new faces in the photos below ;)

New semester has finally begun, it's my first semester taking Master of Computing (MCOP), after an 8-month hiatus from studying. That means from now on, Superwoman Christina will be fully occupied with classes, tutorials, assignments, research papers, and exams once again! Besides all these hectic schedules, still I need to work in two different places to earn my livings throughout the semesters, and also the course fees for the coming semesters, which is NOT cheap at all. I'm 101% aware that 2009 is gonna be a really tough year for me, all I hope is to get supports (mentally) and blessings from my dearest family and friends, is that too much I'm asking for?

After spending almost 2 crazy hours fooling around and playing games on the beach, everyone was completely tired out and wet to the skin. That was when we started to think of finding a place, just sit down, relax and enjoy a nice warming dinner together. Within half an hour or so, we drove all the way back from Surfers Paradise to Sunnybank.

Today is Channelle's 2nd birthday party, all of us were invited to her belated birthday celebration held in Bamboo's. Alice was smiling happily as she was hugging Channelle so tightly in her arms.

My Baby Cactus and I...

Just about 2 weeks ago, I've bought myself a baby cactus from Sunday Market for only $3. The plant is growing well so far and is healthy as it was previously. Needless to say, cactus are strong plants that require little attention and they're easy to be taken care of. I really do hope that I'm strong as my baby cactus, bless me that I will recover from my illness ASAP...

Seriously, I know nothing about dogs but I really have made my best effort to identify these dogs from small breeds to giant breeds.
