After settling our tummies (yumcha in Sunnybank), we continued rolling on the highway to Gold Coast. The 50-minute journey led us all to Islander Resort Hotel, our economic one-night accommodation located in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
It was a decent one-bedroom apartment that we pre-booked few days earlier.
One single bed in the living area and one king sized bed in the bedroom.
We had a good night sleep though the mattress was not as soft and comfy as expected.
Smile, Mr. Choo ;)
The place where we cooked our cup noodles next morning.
Tiny bathroom with bathtub and very limited bathroom supplies.
No hairdryer (luckily Niki got it with her). Only a couple of shower caps, conditioning shampoo packets, and mini soap bars were provided.
The 180-degree cityscape view outside the balcony.
Facing Hilton Hotel, one of the tallest buildings around. The Hard Rock Cafe was just walking distance away.
Seaview!!! A bit far but still good enough for us ;p
