Our short aka farewell trip for Niki and Pingo took place on the 23rd and 24th of March, the most precious and memorable two days we spent together before the couple flew back to their home-country, Hong Kong. On day one, we kick-started our morning with a yumcha session at the Landmark Restaurant in Sunnybank. The service was friendlier this time and we ordered pretty much the same things we usually order here.
香片茶, not sure if it is called scented tea or jasmine tea.
Let's see, we have Har gow (Chinese dumplings with prawns and pork fillings), shumai (pork dumplings), fung jau (chicken feet), char siu bao (Cantonese barbecue pork buns), and pai gwat (steamed spareribs with fermented beans) on the table.
Pingo kept on refilling my tea cup until I lost count how many cups I've had in total.
Niki and I. One skinny, one chubby t.t
Delicious egg tarts, but the puff pastries were a bit too oily for me.
Century egg and pork porridge (皮蛋瘦肉粥).
So full now...
