The firework show at the Queens Park this year was extraordinarily phenomenal!!! We considered ourselves very lucky to be there just in time, right before it started.
Well, there were firework shows on two separate days, one was on the 16th (opening ceremony), another was on the 18th (closing ceremony), which we went for.
Amazing isn't it? To see such spectacular fireworks in a small town like Toowoomba.
I shot them using my BB's newly bought portrait lens. With some proper adjustments, they turned out to look alright.
I failed to get the whole picture of this, what a waste.
We should've stood slightly far away, since the lens is un-zoomable.
My BB walking with his sterilized tripod. Yeah, it was a silly joke about him leaving his tripod under the hot sun, when we had barbecue over at Kevin's place in the afternoon.
Spongebob plush toys! There were so many of them waiting for us to bring them home but we brought home none ;p
Pink Panthers in blue???
When I was a kid, I used to beg my parents to take me on the Ferris wheel ride whenever we went to a mini funfair, one of those sweet childhood memories back in my hometown in Malaysia.
Everybody says, "Cotton candy!"
The World of Showbags.
Spotted a cute little Mr. Lion hanging somewhere.
Lining up for churros aka Spanish doughnuts.
$4 each and they were a bit hard.
Some of the kids' rides.
Hurricane.
Tried to capture the light effects when it was spinning, good try.
The flying saucer ride.
We didn't take any rides that night. Sat down, had a cup of hot chocolate then we were on our way home.
