USQ Japanese Garden: Ju Raku En (Part I)

This late afternoon, 5ive of us have paid a sudden visit to Australia's largest & most traditionally designed Japanese stroll garden.Its elements of mountain stream & waterfall, Dry Garden, central lake, Azalea Hill, 3 kilometers of paths, 230 species of Japanese & Australian native trees & plants, & lawns combine in a seamless & restful harmony.

There, you'll get to feed bread to the fishes, swans, ducks, geese... It is also known as a popular venue for spring weddings & some other functions but you have to make an earlier booking to the authorized personnel. The garden is open daily from 7a.m. to 7p.m. with free admission.

Raining Days Please Go Away!

Yay, finally I'm relief!!! These few weeks have been pretty hectic with many assignment deadlines. Like today, each of us just had a plate of fried rice in the afternoon until now. Grrr, I'm so hungry but it's really too late for food now. It has been raining for the past few days, the lowest temperature was 8 degree. Thank God it's not raining today, else I won't be able to do my laundry =x

I don't know why but my mood does get better when it comes to Friday =P I enjoy weekends a lot cause that's the only time we'll get to spend some time resting, shopping for groceries ^_^ Alright, it's really late here, time to take a rest and have a good night sleep. See y'all around! *huggiez*

Wonderful Dinner

Hehe, this would be my 1st attempt at cooking chicken drumstick in sweet chilli sauce but it turns out to be so nice =P glad that my boi really enjoyed it. I think there'll be a great improvement in my cooking skill since I'm cooking here everyday and it's gonna last for another 1 year =x

So, if there's any recipe that you would like to share with me, please do advise me as I'm running outha idea for me & my boi's daily meals >.<" Recently, we've been busy with our assignments. Student Village: The surroundings

These are the photos I've taken yesterday right after the cleaners cleaned our whole unit except the bedrooms. They only come once every fortnight, that's also when we're required to pay for our room rents. As for the last few shots, we took them while walking to our uni for class in the evening.

It's currently 12 degree out there, not really feeling that cold inside our room especially with a heater on plus the effect of the curry chicken we had for dinner just now. Hehe, it's time for laundry now! Catch up with y'all soon!

Porridge + 辣腐乳

Raining season has finally came to an end after a long wearing week. It was slightly hot this morning when I first wake up, feeling good in such a bright & sunny day =D Another thing to feel relief about is... I've finally passed up my assignment last night with no regret cause I really did try my best to answering every single one of the question & exercise.

I'm doing great here in Toowoomba, as u can see on the above =P That's me & my boi's yummylicious dinner! Mixed porridge which contains minced mushrooms, ham, carrots, & beans served with preserved chilli bean curds (辣腐乳). Isn't it suitable for a chilling night?

I miss my family so much especially my mom & sis. They went for birthday celebration in Han Nan Town @ Port Swettenham, Penang without me *sob sob* How I miss those delicious local food in Penang >.<"
