Mt. Coot-Tha Lookout, Brisbane

Mt. Coot-tha was once known as One Tree Hill. The lookout has been a favorite destination for both residents and visitors to Brisbane since before the turn of the century.

The Summit Restaurant offers regularly changing menu of contemporary, quality Queensland style cuisine with Mediterranean and Asian influences.

As you step onto the observation deck, you'll get to see the breath-taking panoramic views of Brisbane City with views out to Moreton Bay by day and a fairyland of glittering lights at night.

Wheel of Brisbane can be seen clearly using the binoculars provided on top of Mt. Coot-tha.

As the sky gets darker, the air gets abruptly colder, so please remember to bring a thick jacket with you if you wish to stay up here longer.

We only stopped by for a short while before heading back to Toowoomba again.
