We embarked on an unplanned trip to Ipoh just last weekend. It was a long weekend in celebration of the 58th Independence Day of our home country - Malaysia. I concerned a little bit at first as it was raining cats and dogs along the journey. The haze itself was bad enough I thought. But thankfully, miracle does happen and my prayer was answered. No more rain when we approached the old town of Ipoh. Tummies were well fed right before the walking and sweating begin.
Qing Xin Ling (清心岭), a peaceful place away from the concrete jungle.
Entrance fee was RM4 per adult including parking. We parked our car somewhere near to find ourselves greeted by more and more traditional wooden structures and farm animals.
Well, here's one as I speak.
White duck that doesn't look like a duck to me =p
One of them actually sounded like an exciting puppy, so funny!
A little self-indulge moment.
三壹山. Are you ready for more sweats and hiking? I would suggest you guys to bring a pair of sneakers / sport shoes along. Hats or umbrellas are welcomed too.
Panoramic view of the leisure and cultural village on top of the hill.
You get to write down your wishes and put it up here.
Me working hard on the soybean grinding machine. LOL.
Very much like the Time Tunnel Museum we visited on the Cameron Highlands.
This was taken before the sky changed his mind and started to rain on us again =(
