We went to try out Xian Ding Wei Taiwanese Tea Room (鲜定味台湾料理) at the Queensbay Mall few days ago. Still not getting use to the 10% service charge and 6% government tax system here somehow =/
Osmanthus Oolong Tea (桂花乌龙茶), love at first taste.
Sweet & Sour Pork (古老肉) Set.
You may choose to have Steamed Rice (白饭) or the flavory Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice (卤肉饭).
The meal also comes with soup and some side dishes *thumbs up*
Apple Yogurt and Dragon Fruit drinks.
Taiwanese Spicy Sauce （台湾辣鱼酱） and Taiwanese Sauce (台湾豆瓣酱), liked them all.
Steamed Pork and Fish with Cabbage (扁鱼白菜焖肉).
Completely satisfying! And it was the yummy-est dish we had there.
Fried Pork Chop with Wine Set (红糟炸猪排).
My boi's little bro. He seemed to be a bit too shy to pose in front of the camera...
Overall, the meals were all delicious and we really enjoyed them.

the last time I went, the food was so so only. Most of price is paying for the air con and not-so-friendly service. I like more the original Taiwanese restaurant at Chai Leng park.

ReplyDeleteErm, where is Chai Leng Park? Here in Penang? I haven't had Taiwanese food in almost 4-5 years, "Xian Ding Wei" was considerably good for me =x
