We threw a farewell potluck dinner for both Melodii and Richmond last night, since the two will be leaving Australia very soon, somewhere next week or the week after I think. The meals, card games, and everything were enjoyable and rewarding too! Ahem~ you know what I mean ;D
#1 Christina's Braised Pork Belly and Potato with Red Fermented Beancurd (南乳薯仔炆腩肉)
I found this delicate recipe when google-ing for braised pork belly and potato recipe this afternoon. The ingredients needed are as simple as you can get: pork belly, red fermented beancurd (南乳) and its gravy, minced garlic, five-spice powder, Chinese cooking wine, star anise, light soy, dark soy, and some sugar.

I don't know how he did it, but the lamb totally has no "lamb smell"at all! Awesome!

The price of the veggies here have increased like mad (almost run out of veggies and meat) due to the Queensland floods that hits our town.
But it wasn't about the price anyway... We have 3 guys in the house, and veggies can never really feed them much.
