This is the Mt. Kynoch Treatment Plant under the blue, blue sky of Toowoomba. We were here at the Mt. Kynoch Lookout a couple of days ago to enjoy the warming afternoon sun and its spectacular views.
As we grow older, our memories fade inevitably... I wish to keep them here, just between you and me... My beautiful diary...

My boi and I were invited to our friend, Henry's graduation ceremony which was held on last Saturday afternoon. We woke up a bit late that day as both of us felt really tired after the Bak Kut Teh Dinner + Girls Party we had on the night before. Fortunately, we managed to get him a pressie and got to the graduation hall just in time ;)

Bak Kut Teh Dinner: Girls Party

We had Bak Kut Teh dinner together with the six other girls last night. It was fun cooking (Bev, you really made me laugh until my tears nearly burst out), dining, chatting, and watching them the pretty girls playing Wii games like kids do. Also, a big "thank you" to you girls for the fun time and those yummylicious food. I know, it's really odd to see a Bak Kut Teh post without even a single Bak Kut Teh photo, isn't it? But, everyone was too busy cooking that time (I'm gonna put the blame on my boi for this). Anyway, let's talk about the food instead! This is an Authentic Lemon Chicken dish prepared by Bev, with some help from me and Li San ♥

I was out here in Warwick in this early morning for a job on the outskirts of town. For your information, the weather down under changes so rapidly and is totally unpredictable. It could be sunny for the previous few minutes then followed by thunderstorm / shower, then back to sunny again, just like today.

Happy Graduation and congratulations to my dear friends, Cynthia, Cloe, Pui, Jane, Michael, Lisa, Alice, Neo, Aaron and many others who also graduated on the 17th of April, 2010. I guess I won't be doing much talking here today as I'm feelin' a bit worn out after two consecutive nights of late-night sleep. So, just the pictures speak for themselves, shall we?

The city centre was like a "ghost town" that day, since almost all of the people in town have already gone to the Toowoomba showground.

These are some shots randomly taken on the streets of Surfers Paradise. Everyone was free to do whatever they felt like doing (surfing, shopping, gaming...), since it was our third which was also our last day here.

On the second night, we drove all the way from Gold Coast to Brisbane just to visit this nightclub located somewhere near Chinatown (this place looks new and a lot nicer after some refurbishment). We brought our bunny ears along to the club but were told to take them off before entering the lounge bar (I ain't sure about the reason though). Anyway, it was really fun hanging out with the girls.

Easter Holidays Day 1: Happy Birthday Baby Bev

At first, Bev wanted to have her birthday countdown party in a club or something. But things seemed to go out of plan when most clubs in the country are closed on Good Friday. And the back-up plan was to throw her a birthday bash in the apartment instead. It was fun and crazy still!

Bassim, is the Korean restaurant which I mentioned in my earlier post. We had our lunch here and ordered unlimited number of side dishes (eggplant and kimchi are the best) since they're already included as part of our meal deals.

Two weeks of mid-semester break has finally begun, and my boi and I have joined our friends for a 3D2N trip on the Gold Coast. Upon arrival, we first checked in to the apartment (which was pre-booked online earlier on), then started to hunt for food. After charging ourselves up with some delightful Korean food, everyone was ready for some beach actives on the sunny Gold Coast's Surfers Paradise. Let's go!

Last Thursday, I've booked a table for 12 at the Highland Fling Steak & Seafood Restaurant. It was a dinner gathering suggested by Crystal as most of us didn't get to sit down and talk since our last Christmas Reunion Party. Now, let's take a look at the guest list first...

Six of us had two big plates of home-made Deep Fried Wontons for dinner and supper last night. A big round of applause to my boi, Darren and Ah Fong for their "hard work" and contributions :)
