Chap Goh Meh: Special Lunch

All of the ingredients I used for today's lunch are gathered from "Jasmine Asian", the newly opened Asian grocery shop in Toowoomba. Usually, we don't get to buy any pork kidneys and pork livers in this small town but yesterday we finally found them! So here it is, the ღ Pork Kidney Soup with Egg and Ginger Slices ღ I prepared for the very first time.

Ripley's Believe It or Not Odditorium

The departure time of my flight from KL -> Gold Coast was delayed for half an hour that day (which happened 2 days ago). I arrived at local time 8.05 am at the Gold Coast / Coolangatta Airport, but waited 2 hours just for the luggage collecting and immigration checking. And as soon as I walked out of the arrival gate, my boi was already standing there waiting for me. He first took me to have "dim sum" at Landmark Restaurant in Sunnybank, then drove back to Gold Coast's Surfers Paradise to visit the Ripley's Believe It or Not Odditorium, which he promised to take me to, before I went back to Malaysia.

Sakae Sushi (3 Years Later)

After leaving Malaysia for almost-but-not-exactly 3 years, I'm proud to tell that I was back to my second home, Penang once again! Throughout that one whole month in Malaysia, I spent most of my time dating, shopping, eating, eating and eating with my sissy, Rachel. I'm not sure if she gained any weight, but I'm so relieved that I didn't. My sissy knows that I'm always craving for Japanese food, so she finally took me to Sakae Sushi Queensbay Mall to have all these yummylicious dishes I love ♥

Bathing Baby Whisper

It was my first time bathing / showering a doggie that day, when Warren (the daddy) agreed to let me (the auntie) babysit his baby girl, Whisper for one night.

8th Day of Chinese New Year: Karaoke Gathering

On the 8th day of Chinese New Year, I spent a night out with my sis and her old classmates (which happen to be my friends also) at one of the bistros in Pulau Tikus. It wasn't easy for us to find a place like this (with karaoke and stuff), as most of the restaurants, pubs and bistros were either closed early or totally not opened for business tonight.

Tiger Year: Old Schoolmates Reunion

On the fourth night of Chinese New Year, all of us were invited to an "Old Schoolmates Reunion BBQ Party" held at Daniel's house. Thanks to those who made the food and BBQ facilities available to us :) It was one of the best reunions I attended so far, looking forward to see you guys again (next Chinese New Year if possible). I love and miss you guys a lot!

One Day in Klian Intan: Fishing

On one of the days of Chinese New Year, my friends and I went on a mini fishing trip somewhere in Klian Intan, a very small town which was joined to Pengkalan Hulu / Kroh (my hometown) by a twisty road about eight miles in length. We found a good spot and lighted up a fire before the fishing began.

Chou Shun Kan Japanese BBQ Restaurant (长春馆) at Crystal Point Penang

Four of us (me, my bro, my sis and Nick) went to have Japanese BBQ at this restaurant called Chou Shun Kan (长春馆) about few days ago. It is located somewhere at the Crystal Point Penang.

Delicious Cafe at Mid Valley Megamall

On our first night in KL, we had a little shopping in Mid Valley Megamall. I only managed to grab myself a white tube from MNG, while my sis and Elly have got themselves each a nice pair of heels and sandal from Vincci. We continued to shop even more and even harder on the next coming day, stay tuned if you wanna find out ;)

Grandma We Loved You

This is the one and only photo of me with my grandma (we called her mama instead of ah ma). She was smiling so sweet looking at me there, but now... she already left us, peacefully, ended her long struggle, gone to a better place where she will still be watching over us. Goodbye, my beloved grandma. You'll be in our hearts forever :'(

Betong: The Southernmost Town of Thailand

Betong is a not-so-big-yet-not-so-small town located at the southernmost district of Yala Province, Thailand. This place has successfully attracted quite a huge number of tourists from nearby Malaysia, Pengkalan Hulu (formerly known as Kroh or Keroh) in particular.

Hiking in Youth Park, Penang

We went to hike Penang's Youth Park this late afternoon (around 6 pm), after visiting my little bro in Sg. Petani, Kedah. He is currently still in the National Service Training Camp and will only be back to celebrate Chinese New Year for a few days. Anyways, this is one of the scenes that you'd expect to see if you were to hike up the hill these few days or maybe weeks. Wow, autumn in Malaysia? Think again...

Whiter Than You Ever Imagined

As what I said in the afternoon, I'm truly amazed by myself for being able to grow up and stay in this small town for so many years. I spent most of my time "molding" at home ever since I came back to my hometown. It drives me crazy when I don't even have transportation to go to the places I want. I desperately wanna blog about my 3D2N KL shopping trip but the problem is that my "antique" laptop doesn't have the card reader which supports the memory card used by my Sony camera. I'm speechless now, aren't you too?
