Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant

Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Menu

My boi has a sudden crave for Mexican food today, and he brought me to the Montezuma's at Herries St. for dinner after a little late evening shopping at the Grand Central. It was the second Mexican restaurant in town which we had visited thus far, besides Amigo's (the one at Margaret St.). My confession is (nothing to do with the food or restaurant)... I've got myself something from GUESS again *face down with guilt* something small yet incredibly sweet and adorable *dreamy eyes*

The menu is so big that as if he was reading the newspapers.

The interior design of the restaurant.

Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Virgin Mary

Virgin Mary $6.95
A blend of lemon juice, pepper, Tabasco sauce, and tomato juice.

Seriously, I don't really like the drink cause it tasted a bit spicy and weird to me.

Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Tequila Martini

Strawberry Flavored Tequila Martini
Just ignore the caption...

Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Tequila Martini

A special liquor drink which has a slightly sour and salty taste, my boi loved it so much.

Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Seafood Enchiladas

Seafood Enchiladas $17.95
Soft corn tortilla dipped in sauce, rolled with garlic prawns and seafood filling, topped with sour cream and cheese, and oven baked in Mexican sauce.

Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Seafood Enchiladas

As usual, I ordered seafood for myself.
Loved the cheesy seafood roll but not the salad and overly baked rice (just the surface).

Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Mole Poblano

Mole Poblano $18.95
Centuries old chicken dish invented by nuns of Puebla for the bishops visit, served with a spicy Aztec sauce, 32 herbs and spices, coconut, banana and pineapple.

Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Mole Poblano

My boi has got himself a chicken dish, and the chicken was really rough and dry =[

Montezuma's Mexican Restaurant: Chocolate Mousse

Chocolate Mousse $4.50
A favourite chocolate delight served with cream.

The dessert was lovely, but unfortunately it wasn't cold enough.
