Brisbane Day 1: Mercure Hotel and Shopping

Brisbane City

Before we go on to the Queens Street Mall (for shopping), we must first check in our luggage here at the Mercure Hotel and get ourselves refreshed, like soaking in a warm bubbly bath perhaps?

Mercure Hotel Brisbane: Couple Room

Tada! This is the double / couple room we reserved earlier via online booking.

It's quite a cozy little area for two people, and the spectacular view from 14th floor is even a plus ♥

Queens Street Mall: Food Court

Taking a break from incessant shopping...

My BB trying to cover "something" using his finger, LoL~

Queens Street Mall: Japanese Food

As for dinner, we chose to have Japanese food again. Yes, I really don't mind having it every day.

Both the Curry Chicken and Prawn Katsudon cost us only $10.

Southbank: Palestine Solidarity

And when the the sky gets darker, and the air gets colder and colder, I finally realized that it was time to go home.

Southbank: Palestine Solidarity

On the way walking back to our hotel, we came across a group of Palestine Solidarity protesters gathered in front of the Brisbane Square.

There were also food stalls selling a variety of food from different countries.
