sSs BBQ Barns Steakhouse Toowoomba: Our 4th Anniversary

It was our 4th anniversary on 27th of April, 2009. My boi planned to take me out for a celebration dinner at sSs BBQ Barns Steakhouse located on corner of James and West Streets, Toowooomba. Upon arrival, we were assigned to a table for two and served with a warming Hot Chocolate and an icy cold Margarita.

I had just submitted my forth assignment, CSC8407 Wireless & Internet Technology this morning, but distressingly there are still heaps left! Let me see... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 assignments, 2 projects, and 1 report for me to work on! Sigh, I guess I'll have to spend the coming 2 months struggling and coping with all these hateful stuff.

Jim Beam Ford V8 Supercars Bottle Holder

Just a few weeks ago, my boi has bought himself a Jim Beam V-Power Racing car from Dan Murphy's, Toowoomba. The metal liquor bottle holder is hollow inside, containing a 700ml bottle of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (2008 Limited Edition). There are advertisements of V8 Supercars Australia scattered all over its body, which includes Dunlop, Mustang, Coca-Cola, Waverly, Shell Helix, and more. The story of Steven Johnson (no. 17) and Will Davison (no. 18) is also being covered on the bottle's label.

I woke up at 9 something in the morning today and finding myself wearing so red before heading out to the city. We had a little grocery shopping at Sunday Market and Hooper Centre just like every other Sundays. Then, we went to Royal Asian for our "Yum Cha" sesson.

Triko Bear

We got this adorable Triko Bear Juice Jelly (小熊桶果汁果凍) from Sunnybank last week.
It comes with grape and peach flavors which taste really good!

Anniversary Gift: Guess Princess Small Satchel (White)

It was yesterday when we spent the entire Easter Monday shopping in Queen Street Mall, Brisbane. The weather was terribly bad, it rained non-stop since early morning till the very moment we reached home. As you can see, the rain did not stop us from buying things at all. Right here, right now, I proudly announce that I've actually pre-claimed our anniversary present 2 weeks earlier from my BB, with no surprises. I really can't help falling in love with Guess Princess Small Satchel (White).

Five Hours Mega Movie Marathon

Mega Movie Marathons traditionally take place on the night of national public holidays in the local Birch Carroll & Coyle cinemas. On the night of April 12 (Easter Monday Eve), we've finally opened our eyes on the 5 hours non-stop movie marathon which began at 11.20 pm and ended at 4.20 am. There were 4 different marathon programs for us to choose from:

• Marathon 1: Too Fast Too Furious (Advance Screening), Death Race, Role Models. (SOLD OUT)
• Marathon 2: Race to Witch Mountain, Confessions of A Shopaholic, Bedtime Stories.
• Marathon 3: Monsters Vs. Aliens, Ghost Town, Madagascar 2: Escape to Africa. (OUR CHOICE)
• Marathon 4: 17 Again, Yes Man, Inkheart. (SOLD OUT)

USQ Career Fair 2009

This year's career fair was not as happening as previous years. The event took place at exactly the same venue, which is the USQ refectory from 11 am to 3 pm. My boi and I were there to gather some information about IT related job opportunities and recruitment here in Australia. We did not go home empty handed but instead had our hands full with lots of freebies and magazines.
