The Highland Fling Steak & Seafood Restaurant Toowoomba

The Highland Fling Steak & Seafood Restaurant

Highland Fling is the steak and seafood restaurant located at the corner of James and West Streets. I was once there for its Sunday Morning Breakfast which was very very delightful. And last night, my boi decided to take me out for a "sumptuous" dinner since it was the Melbourne Cup Day yesterday.

It felt so romantic dining under a roof of sparkling (artificial) stars with soft music playing in the background.

Comment: The calamari rings tasted so lovely and most importantly they were thinly sliced ;)

Vegetarian Stir-Fry: Fresh medley of vegetables tossed through its own mild curry sauce & served with jasmine rice.

Fresh Fish of the Day: A fresh fillet of fish grilled with lemon butter sauce, served with mashed potato and vegetables.
Comment: The fish fillet doesn't smell or taste fishy at all, loved the taste!

4. Desserts

Fresh Pavlova: Served with a seasonal fruit couli, ice-cream & cream.
Comment: Very smooth and tasty, and the sauce was a bit sour.

Butterscotch Pancakes: Light pancakes smothered in butterscotch sauce with ice-cream & cream.
Comment: I highly recommend this dessert to you 'cause it was the most delicious pancakes I ever tasted in my life!!!

    Yes, it is ;)
The dishes at TGI Fridays are actually quite good, I've only been there once to celebrate my 22nd birthday.

Yeah, if only they could cover the ceiling of the whole dining area with these sparkling stars, that would be even greater!
