Gold Coast's Dreamworld: Kangaroos

When European explorers first saw these strange hopping animals, they asked a native Australian (aborigine) what they were called. He replied "kangaroo" meaning "I don't understand" your question. The explorers thought this was the animal's name. And that's how the kangaroo got its name.

Kangaroo: It's Too Bright

A male kangaroo is called a boomer.
A female kangaroo is called a flyer.
A baby kangaroo is called a joey.

 Kangaroo: Sense of Smell

Kangaroo: Ready Steady Go

 Kangaroo: Dehydration

Kangaroo: Kangaroo Troop

Baby Kangaroo

The 6 month-old joey (baby kangaroo) just left his mother's pouch for the very first time.

Kangaroo: Sleeping

The joey was extremely tired and sleepy after being disturbed by so many visitors today.

Kangaroo: Body Itchying

Kangaroo: Feel You Touch

Aww, they're really lovely and tame.

Kangaroo: Standing Still

Kangaroo: Different Breed?

They look similar to kangaroos but smaller in size, so I assume its a different breed of kangaroo? Please correct me if I'm wrong...
