Happy All-Hallow-Even (Halloween)

Tonight is the eve of All Saints' Day aka All Hallow's Day. This celebration is not really popular among Asian countries but it has been celebrated in several parts of the western world, most commonly in Ireland, the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and United Kingdom. One of the well-known traditional activities is trick-or-treating (guising) that we usually seen on our local TV, I believe.

On this special night, most of the kids will dress themselves in halloween customes visiting one house to another in their neighborhood, asking question like, "Trick or treat?". The adults usually will reward candies to the trick-or-treaters (kids). Some of the other activities includes bonfires, costume parties, visiting "haunted houses" and watching movies.

Headache, headache, headache!!! Our residential service agreement will be ending on 17th of Nov, that's just 2 weeks away from now... There's nothing much to hope for, but to get cheaper room rates and better (as in clean and tidy) housemates. I wonder how "hot" it could be in the coming summer break with no air-conditioner and ceiling fan.

Moving out from this unit might be a good thing, but what about relocation fees for both Telstra phone line and Netspace broadband which cost over 130 dollars? It would only be worth it IF we get cheaper room rates and also calculate in long-term costs.

Where My Readers From

Sometimes, It's good and fun to get to know where your blog readers or visitors usually come from. Nuffnang is one of the webpages which I frequently visit to find out my blog's daily unique visits. Still remember the Nuffnang badges we get from The Orient's Voice gathering? My boi have actually brought it here with him and his backpack, LoL! I bet it's too small for to be seen and definitely not helping in promoting Nuffnang here in Australia =X

I'm feeling good today 'cause I've just passed up 2 out of the 3 assignments, that means still one more to go, girl! Exams come during the first and second week of November (in another few days), so there's not much time left for me to do final revisions for all the courses which I'm taking this semester. Wish me luck everyone!

Extraordinary

A foggy spring day in Toowoomba...

All in a sudden, the whole area was surrounded by thick fog...

Houseflies... Rest In Peace !!!

Have ever try to cook rice using the microwave?

Spring is probably the best season of the year BUT what happen if u keep on getting "mobbed" by houseflies wherever u go?! The houseflies here seem to be more dummy than those in Malaysia, what I mean is... they're easily to be killed! Unfortunately, there was a clever housefly buzzing around our room last nite, my boi was so fed up with that annoying flying insect and begin to "fight" with it, his funny "attack" really made me laugh like crazy!

Call Me A Cab

This afternoon, we thought of being able to catch up with the bus depart at 1.50 p.m. to Coco's but as soon as we reach Kah Peng's unit, Komodo was the only one there cooking instant noodles. Too rare to be true! We actually missed our bus and end up walking to USQ with the accompany of the most annoying houseflies.

Coco's best known in providing fresh food like meats and veggies as well as Asian food. We were there waiting at the bus-stop right after we paid for the last item.

As time goes by, we spent our time taking photos one after another...

We kept on waiting and waiting, still the bus was not there yet!

After 30 minutes of waiting, Desmond decided to call a cab since there's no point waiting there any longer.

It ain't cheap to take cab (taxi) here in Australia but at least they do provide good services.

The cab arrived after a short while and everyone was relieved and happy. Can't u see how happy was Desmond with his "V"ictory pose?

Kah Peng and my boi were busy "analizing" the taxi meter. 2 dollars per kilometer, sounds fair to you?

LoL, at first Kah Peng (the tall and big guy) was asked to sit in front (between Kodomo and the driver). I was like... swt, isn't he gonna block the driver's vision?

I've learn a good lesson today which is... not to buy round trip tickets when you're unsure about the bus arrival time and never take the last bus unless that's the last and only choice u have!

It's Freaky Friday

I guess there's currently no market supply for red chillies cause I've been looking for them since the past few weeks but still not seeing any in the market today.

These eggs were fried using the new wok we bought from K-Mart. I'm sick and tired of using non-stick frying pan to cook our daily meals. With the good quality of this new wok, I'll be able to cook faster and more easily.

You can hardly find canned longan in syrup here in Toowoomba. Even if you could, the price is not cheap at all!

Edna, with an ice-cream cup on her both hands, she was extremely kind and friendly to us and everyone there. She's definitely the busiest person through out the whole party. Thanks Edna for the rides and invitation!

Assignments = Graveyard

This gif above looks incredibly horrible, but it best describes our current condition. Assignments are drowning us like crazy, making us suffocate! That sounds pretty serious huh? LoL, what's more? Finals are just around the corner and I'm desperate for job in this coming summer break...

Well, if u wish to help me out a 'lil bit, please offer or recommend me a job before I end up sleeping under the skybridge loose my sanity!!! Alrite, it seems like I'm making everyone worries about me. Truthfully speaking, everythin' is still under control and I'm still able to cope with it, don't worry too much, k?

I miss all of u so much especially mommy, daddy, sis, and bro. Please take a good care of urself, I'm coming home soon... soon as in end of next year maybe...

I get to know about this Caption.iT webbie when I was browsing through Kah Peng's blog this afternoon. When my boi was preparing dinner in the kitchen, I've created several pieces with some "special" words before placing them on my desktop. Then, I left him a few lines in a notepad so that he will open up those images by himself. Hehe, I think he likes them too.

Sometimes, certain guys might think that it's such a silly kinda way to express a girl's feelings but sometimes not, just depends on individuals. Apart from uploading your own photos, you can also add glitters to the images created. Of course, free stuff always have limitations so do the designs available.

Eat to Live or Live to Eat?!

The potato chips here and those we have in Malaysia are totally different, why? Cause they taste more "potato"! LoL... and I love the gravy and chicken salt so much!

I've made use of Leggo's Cabonara Pasta Sauce, a few slices of tomato and cucumber, not to forget some cheese powder as well to prepare this yummylicious pasta.

My boi and our housemate's friend love this dish very much *grin* It feels good when people seem to like and enjoy your cooking especially your loved ones.
